50s, sunny, and silver

Was the first really nice day we've had here in a while, so I took advantage and managed to get out for 2 1/2 hours in the early afternoon, to the site of an old school that has given up silver a few times before.

Managed to score a pair of silver dimes :happydance01: and a handful of wheats. The first thing I pulled out of the hole with the merc was a rusty nail  I said you got to be kidding -- it sounded too good to be an iron false, and sure enough that sweet sound was still there on the rescan happydance02. That's why I love the E-Trac, :smitten: I imagine quite a few coils have been over it before.

Well, at least we got a taste of spring today, its supposed to be miserable around here later in the week :bangahead01: Tomorrow looks good tho. Hope everyone is managing to get out -- there have been a ton of awesome finds posted already this year :clapping:. Keep it up folks.

Hey Randy, where's a picture of the nail? lol After all, it was hiding the dime all these years for you to find :clapping: Nice catch.

Congrats Randy on the warm weather hunt and the pair of silvers. :clapping:
It is amazing what a Minelab will hit on. :shocked04:
Nice to see you out finding stuff again. thumbsup01

This sunshine IS nice, isn't it?! Almost as nice as pulling a rusty nail out of the same hole as a silver dime... I love it when that happens!
