A dime trifecta that got me to a big milestone

On Labor Day I detected most of the day in an old town that I have had some great success at over the years. I detected a couple parks and a couple old schools and by the end of the day a found a 1914 Barber Dime, 1945 merc and a 1946 Rosie. Also found a crusty 1898 IHP and a couple Buffs.

The second silver was career #1,000! I started detecting back in 2012 and briefly started with a Garret Ace 150, then quickly purchased a Minelab eTrac and after a few years I bought an XP deus. Now I use the Equinox 800 but I am tempted to get the new Minelab Manticore (I guess it won't be available until early next year) or deus 2.

Thanks for looking! Jared

Congrats on a great milestone! I had not heard of the Manticore until now but checked it out. I think once it's released I might finally have an excuse to upgrade from my CTX3030.

Thanks DOD! Yeah the Manticore might be a cross of Equinox and CTX 30/30...but we will see. Always a lot of hype and no one knows for sure until they start shipping them and people start posting/making videos. Hope the release goes better than how the Equinox went!
