A first for me today

Got a little late afternoon hunting in today. Went back to the private park I was at yesterday. Decided to hunt in an area that I really haven't went over much. Kind of wide open, with no trees. Glad I did. :happydance01: I found my first Barber dime. It's all wore out. But I'm a happy camper! <:. Can't hardly see the date. But I think it's 18 somethin. I'm thinking 1899. But I'm not sure. All I can see is part of the tops of the numbers. Never thought someone could get so excited over an old worn out dime. Also found another $2.27 in clad and pennies. And I believe some kind of pin that says Boy Salesman, and Liberty on the face. The back side has Green Duck Co. Chicago. At the bottom it has the initials M.P.B. and P.I.U. :interesting: I'm going to google it. And see If I can find out anything about it. Sorry I put so many shots of the dime on here. But Big day for me! Thanks for looking :peace:

WOO HOO! :cheering:

Congrats on your first Barber Dime! And you got one from the 1800s too! That's a great find! Worn coins have more character in my opinion. I bet that one would have some interesting stories to tell.

Keep hitting that park! thumbsup01

It must be nice hunt your very own private park! Specially when it's one loaded with old silver!! <:
My first Barber dime was a worn out 1908. At least yours is a 1800's!
But worn out or not, it's special! You'll never dig your first Barber dime again \:hammer: |)
Congrats on your first! :cheering:
