A First for Me

Met up with Steve at the 1840's home site that produced the two large cents and Merc. After years of digging Wheats got my first Indian Head . After some cleaning with a tooth pick got a date, 1884. Nice green patina under all the crud. The large crotal bell was found a few days ago at the same site. HH :beerbuddy:

Congrats on your first Indian Head! Very cool! I still remember my first IH, they are always a thrill to find. Around here the ones from the 1880s or older don't show up too often.

Nice find! :clapping:
