A Great Hunt at a New Park Silver & LC

Hockeyguy introduced me to a local MD'er the other day, and we decided we were going to do a hunt together. So the three of us headed out today to a park neither Hockeyguy and myself has ever been to. John said it was an old park and that it was.
We were not there even 5 minutes and John pulled up a 1888 Seated Dime.. <: and several other goodies..
Myself, I pulled 13 wheaties, a 1953 Rosie, A silver cross medallion, and a Pope/Vatican medallion. Just as we were getting ready to head out, I hit a solid 88 vdi and at 6 inches out popped an 1846 Large cent..
I am stoked as this large cent is the best one (condition wise) that I have ever found.. I think we found a new spot to hunt for the rest of the summer ;)

Gotta love a park where Seated is found right away lol It is an old park and the Large cent proves it. Nice shape and it should clean up well, even if all you do is run soap and water and a tooth brush on it lol Great little hunt. I bet the three amigos will be back there again ;)

Great finds!!! That is a very nice copper for coming out of the ground in the northeast. Keep hitting that park thumbsup01 There is more there.

All kinds of goodies
