A heck of a good day! (Updated Pictures)

Earlier this month I was hunting an old horsetrack in Wisconsin not far from home. It was a nice fall day and had nothing better to do and decided to go dig a hole. I found alot of coins too.:) I found alot of old wheats from the teens and earlier, one toasted indian head, two nice mercs 1917 and 1918, one 1946 rosie and was just having a nice time. Then I got it. It was close to a foot down and got a perfect quarter reading at 12 47 both ways. A real no-brainer. It turned out to be a 1895 O barber quarter! And she is a real beauty. It should grade out at extra fine. Red book says $140. It turned out to be quite a day. As the Ill digger says, "some days you get the cob, and some days you get the corn," today I felt like I got the whole ear! I'm having a hard time posting the coin, so be patient with me. I'll get it right yet!

Thanks for reading.

I can't see the photo either, but I have held this coin in my hand so I know it's a stunner!

Just an incredibly beautiful Barber Quarter. :notworthy:

Nice to hear of a few old coins to be had in Wisconsin. I'm just south of Fondulac and was always hoping to figure out where the old Washington County Horse Track was. See if you can repost the quarter I would love to see it. Great hunt. Wisconsin Digger
