finally pulled something shiny this afternoon. I was getting spoiled pulling 1 silver for every 2 wheats this year, and I guess the odds started to catch up with me. One of the wheaties is a very abused 1909 VDB, too bad, as it has full lines in the wheat ears. The merc is my 64th silver of the year.

Where oh where can I buy an S lol Close but no cigar Randy :ticked: Nice Merc though and I bet it made you day seeing that silver in the hole. 1 silver every 2 wheats is phenomenal :shocked04: I could never keep up that ratio, cause I would never be that lucky, to be in that situation in the first place lol My ratio would be more like 20 to 1 8/ Nice little hunt.

Congrats on the Merc. Always a nice coin to find... especially after a bit of a dry spell.

Bummer on the VDB. Maybe a little warm water and a soft toothbrush? lol
