Another cool find from my yard.

Tilled my garden a couple weeks ago. Found another foundation while tilling. Maybe an out house? Small about a 5' square. Detected it today and found alot of iron and this. Have not found a good ID on it yet. Back totally trashed. Not sure it is a button or token. Across the top it says in rembrance of the centennial July 1876 across the bottom it says independance hall is in 1776

Nice hunt. I think it's a token, as there were lots of centennial and later bicentennial tokens issued. It's a very popular subject for tokens. Google it and see if one is for sale somewhere. That foundation could very well be the outhouse or a small shed. If it's the outhouse, it may contain some very nice and valuable bottles. Some of them bitters bottles can bring hundreds of dollars. It's nice to be at home and find all them good finds. lol
