As Requested, my dug spurs from Germany

Hello diggers,
Here are my dug spurs over the last 5 years detecting in Germany. I can hardly believe that I dug three of them just this year! They span about 300 to 400 years during the medieval period. The oldest dates to the 1300s and the newest dates to late 1500s or early 1600's (per museum evaluation). Enjoy!

What an amazing collection of dug spurs! :perfect10:

One of them is a different color. Is it bronze? The others are probably that high quality iron. It is so cool seeing them all together like this!

Tony, yes, it is bronze and quite frankly, the only bronze example I can find online. Since bronze isn't as durable as iron, I wonder if this would have been a "parade" only spur and not used in actual day-to-day riding. It would have been a shiny gold color when it was new.
