August 30th I went to the ball park and on October 1st I went to an old friends house.

The first four photo's are what I found at the ball park. I managed to conjure up a couple of silvers, a 1960 Canadian dime and war nickel.

Yesterday I managed to find a nice silver ring, it was a late 1800's house that I was hunting but I was only able to find a little clad but I know there's gotta be some old coins there somewhere.

Nice job on the silver :happydance01: Gotta love the tokens- how old do you think the casino token is? Prob not too old...

Nice couple of hunts. Great looking ring and that '17 wheat is in decent shape too. I'd slowly grid the front yard of that house. At standing houses, I usually wait for a good rain and then use a small coil and go slow. The targets respond slower than usual.

Yes, that is a nice ring and it looks like it has some history behind it. Those are always the best to find.

:congrats:

I don't think that it's that old, it wasn't very deep and any time a coin gets in this celery dirt once it's under the roots of the grass it sinks like a rock, even clad quarters are common at 10 at this spot.
