About a month ago my family helped out a neighbor bail some hay. I grew up on a farm and NOW my family realizes why we do NOT farm anymore. Anyway I stopped by the farmers house and asked to detect it. I got the yes from him and as it turns out they also own 3 other 1800 homes down the road. So my boys and I got to detect 3 nice old homes but unfortunately there was not much in terms of old coins found. Not pictured is a sterling ring my youngest boy found.

The best find was a Civil War Store Token that cleaned up much nicer than I first expected. When I first saw it I was disappointed because I thought it was just a wheatie but I wiped the back and saw the writing and I knew exactly what I had found. The first pic is after I rinsed it in a bird bath at the home. When I got home I put it into some boiling peroxide for JUST 30 seconds. The dirt came right off! This is by far the best CW Token I have found!

Thanks for looking! Jared
