Before and after of a colonial gilted dandy button!

I used naval jelly to clean this dandy button we found on our SC trip. Before cleaning it was covered in verdigris, but when I put the naval jelly on and swirled it with a toothpick for a minute or two the gold really Shone! :shocked03::clapping: The button has a starburst design and lots of intricate scrollwork. Really happy with the results!:thumbsup01:
