Headed out to a spot today with my dad where we hit yesterday and could only stay for about 20mins before we got rained out. We decided to go back and give it a shot! The house was built in the late 1700's but had two additions which were in 1832 and 1920. Only 5mins into the hunt and I pop out my first ever Civil War token! Thought it was a foriegn coin at first until I saw Army&Navy! Then I got pumped! Finds after that consisted of a few Indians, a 1906 Barber dime, a 1941 Mercury Dime, 10 wheat pennies, a 1903 V Nickel, a 1943-P war nickel, and a nice old flat button! My dad also scored his first large cent! 1844 braided hair!
