Big and small Barbers, Mercs and a Roosevelt

What a nice way to start a busy work day. Snuck down to the park for a couple of hours very early this morning
to see if I could coax a few more keepers from the ground... I did! <:

I had 4 silvers, and a handful of wheats in my pouch within the first hour. I desperately wanted to
add one more silver to my harvest before packing it up for the day. Hit a bit of a dry spell for 45 minutes
before I found an IH. Five minutes later my coil went over a real screamer. Almost sounded like a bolt from one angle.
The tone sure settled down as I investigated around the target. Yep... a definite 'dig me'.

Hoping for a silver quarter I was very happy to see a bigger piece of silver come out with a handful of dirt.
Even happier to see it was a Barber. :happydance01: Rescanned to make sure there wasn't more in the vicinity then
powered down the machine and headed home one happy detectorist. It was the one item on my wish list
I really didn't expect to find this year.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I'm still reliving the moment every chance I get in my mind. :daydream: lol

As you all know, pulling a 'first for me' treasure from the ground is definitely one of most exciting
moments of this great hobby. We all see coins/relics/jewelry posted here by fellow hunters we only dream of finding one day.
When it finally happens... it is exhilarating. <:

Good luck this weekend folks!
