Bits and bobs from the last few hunts

Hit my first ever large cent.
cool little advertising thimble...O.B. brand macaroni
added another year to my local dog tax tags
another to my local bicycle licences
a sterling back cuff link
local trade token...the supply store...lamoni IA
my son pulled his second ever silver
lead toy soldier (sorry about the sideways couldn't figure out how to rotate it)
my third silver this season
popped a few IH's also

The bits and bobs are great....but best of all is spending time with my son and my hunt buddie (freemindstuck) doing something we love!:grin::thumbsup01:

:wow:bits and bobs equals just about every thing. Love the coins but that bicycle license is really cool. Still looking for my 1st Canadian LC. The lead toy is cool too.

Never heard of a bicycle license before:thinkingabout: That is a good find. I love finding any kind of tokens and odds and ends, but I really like the big coppers from Canada. Where else can you get a large cent from the 1900's? Plus they usually have a nice green patina on them. Some nice finds:thumbsup01:

Great post. An awesome variety of great finds. And even though I was there when you dug most of it. It's cool to rehash our last few hunts. I'm still a little envious that your bicycle license was in so much better shape then the one I dug. Lol

wow, A bike license? :dontknow: ...and the hole in Lincoln's neck? I find Canadian LCs on occasion as our little corner of New England has many former French Canadians. Quite an eclectic bunch of keepers!
