Took my new hf coils to a high emi place that renders detectors useless and those high freqs worked there well ....anyone know what the piece is with the writing???

Very nice finds! I've got a few of those crazy EMI areas myself which tend to be little hunted because of that. With the CTX, the trick is to use the auto noise reduction, then drop the sensitivity down until the signal clears up. Still get good depth plus the stuff nobody else could get. And yeah, it's cold here too. It was down to -6 earlier with wind chills to almost -30. Even the fast flowing waters are frozen now.
