Couple of items and wondering if anyone knows what they are

Found several old relics on a recent hunt and was wondering what they may be. Both rang up like pennies around 12-40 to 43 so I am guessing brass or copper composition. The 1st pic is a flat piece tapperd on one end with a slot that is on the top and bottom. Does not appear to have been flattened but it may be. 2nd item is a round disc with 2 holes that is quite tapered (like a wedge). Love to know what these things might be. The first item looks like it's the metal tip to a belt.
Not sure on the second one. Kinda looks like it's worn down on one side?:thinkingabout::dontknow:

My wife came to the same conclusion. I should of known that as the item was found near a football field and I am sure it is from an old belt for football pants. Thanks WD The other item does not appear to be worn but rather made that way. it's a mystery. Wd
