That buff sure does look good as does that Tank Corps reunion medallion. The tank on the medallion looks very WWI ish. I seem to have a hard time getting nickels...:dontknow: maybe next year will be better.

Nice finds.

I'm always on the prowl for low readings looking for the gold, this particular buff read just like what nickels always read on my detector but they don't always.

nice finds Larry , anytime you actually get a date from a buffalo nickle its a pleasant bonus , I just love the tank reunion medallion .

Nice finds.

Al those nickles are a solid +18 and 19 on my dfx , they have to be pretty close to the same on you v3i

Great finds! That is a WWI tank depicted on the medal. The 2nd armored division used a black cat as their logo for a time and I wonder if that is the same cat depicted. I think you and I found the same buffalo nickel! I also found a 1936 with a strong date today. HH, Dave.

That Tank Corps Reunion medallion is a fantastic find. Great job.

Nice detail on the Buff. Most of mine are No Dates.
congrats on a couple of productive hunts.

That Tank Corps Reunion medallion is a wonderful find! It cleaned up really well too, no corrosion.

It definitely took a special kind of person to operate one of those WWI tanks. Can you even imagine what it would be like being inside one of those things? I'm afraid my claustrophobia would render me useless for such a task.

Here's a nice link I got on Treasurenet that gives some more info plus it shows the entire medal ribbon and all. It's on worthpoint which I'm not a member of and I was checking out how much it cost to join and it's like $20 a month which I thought was on the steep side but if a person wanted to sell off their collection it would be worth it for a month to get all the info you could find. Also I did electrolysis on it since and am very happy with the way it turned out
