Earliest day out in February and silver to boot

Last year was the earliest I got out in February and this year I was able to get out two days earlier. The day started a little slow as I was hitting a lot of frozen ground. I did manage to find some softer ground and 3 silvers to boot. All three were blackies which was odd as this was not a low drainage area. Glad to get them none the less and also managed 3 Wheaties. 2017 off to a nice start and should be able to get out tomorrow as well. Great to be out again. Wisconsin Digger

Congrats on a great day out hunting! Very nice silvers to boot. Finding ground soft enough to dig is almost as difficult as finding the silvers!

It looks like you're off to another great season. Congrats on the Silvers.
Just think, another week and all the ground will be thawed.
Best of luck on your next hunt!

Yeah buddy! :thumbsup02:
Any silvers before April in Wisconsin can be a blessing some years!
So 3 shinnies in February is a nice start!
Congrats!
