EXcelerator Coil Cable binding ?

Just got the 6 EXcelerator EQ2 coil. Going to use it tomorrow for the first time. Was wondering if anyone else has trouble with the coil cable binding inside the shaft when you try to collapse it? Lucky I am pretty tall, it goes in an inch or two more than I need for upright hunting. But hunting hillsides or walls I would like it shorter. Also won't shorten enough to even fit in my carry bag. Almost though. Should I take it apart and fidget with the cable/shaft or just accept it as the norm?

Would stretching it out help it coil back a bit smaller so it won't catch on the inside of the shaft?? :dontknow: It seems to be just a bit too wide to fit inside comfortably. Just something I would try. Try at your own risk though lol

Good idea. I think I will twist the coils tighter first and see what happens...
