First E-trac Silver!!!!

Decided to go over to my neighbors yard that I've hit several times, because I couldn't get away for no more than a short hunt. I have found a silver dime and a beautiful SLQ in the past along with several wheats. Tonight I hunted for about 45 minutes and came away with nothing but coins!!! I used the advice to not dig the signals that gave the signs of trash. I dug 3 wheat pennies, several memorials and my very first Barber Dime!!!! 1893 S at 6 deep. It was about 6 inches away from a memorial penny I dug first. I rescanned and it gave me a really nice strong signal. Here's the pics... Woooohooo! the drought is over!

Hope that is a sign for you- that's how my luck started. I found my first silver dime with my E-trac on a Thursday and wow did that start a run of luck! Hope you do the same! thumbsup01

Boy did I need this! I was really beginning to doubt my detecting abilities and was really really starting to lose confidence. It's been since early last fall since I've hit silver.... I was on quite a drought with the DFX at the end of the year too... I've always wanted to find a barber dime and to get a semi-key date to boot is just icing on the cake!

Thanks folks...I just realized that this 1893 is my oldest silver too! 1899 was my previous record.
