First find in 2016 (Lg cent)

I went out yesterday for a short hunt and decided to go to and area where my cousin once lived. His home was built around 1920. A builder came in and bought his 3 acre lot and are now building town homes. I was hoping to find some old silver, but instead on my first dig came this Lg. cent. What a surprise.:shocked04: I plan on going back today. Happy New Year .

Congrats on the LC! Odd sometimes how the finds come, more rare coins sometimes are found before the newer more common ones. This year I found 2 LCs which are very rare here in Wisconsin, yet I still have not found a single silver quarter or even a buffalo-go figure!

The first keeper of the new year ,and it's a LC!?! :shocked04:
Nice! :clapping:
Congrats! :congrats:

Thanks everyone. I`m still in:shocked03: that it was the first find this year. I searched again today and found a nice lock that I posted on relic finds. Check it out ,and tell me what you think.

Nice score on the LC. See, that's what I don't get. If people were already at these spots detecting, how could they miss an LC? There is no way someone would pass that kind of signal up, but yet silver cant be found at those places as if they have been dug. Its odd....
