I have yet to find an early shoe buckle like that (very much on my wish list) we would list it as 1660's to about 1690 here in America , curious as to what the Midieval buckle's function was ! I sure wish I could still see grass here Willems , don't you guys get winter over there ?

Haha no, global warming. Last 5 years warm winters.
Now 45 f here and a lot of rain.

Yes, both very nice finds! I agree, lucky you have such nice weather. Cold by me too. It was -10 (-24C) lately and even the air is getting hard.

Nice start to the New Year Willems! Envious that you're still getting out. -20F this morning here in Burlington, VT with a foot of snow and the ground is frozen down to at least that deep. I'd need a jackhammer or back hoe to do any digging up here right now.

I took the garbage out this morning and didn't know if I'd make it back :frozen: I'm glad someone, somewhere in the world is detecting!! Nice saves...they were waiting a LONG time for you to come get them! Nice job!
