First night hunt produces silver.

Back from my first night hunt. Wasn't too bad. Hunted about three hours at an old ball field. Got some clad and junk. Eight wheats, 1918, 1930, 194?, 1950-D, and four that was toast. Another Mississippi State Tax Token that was almost toast. And two Merc's 1928-D and a 1945. This makes # 22 & 23 since May. May have to do this some more.

Nice finds! Night hunts sound very interesting but I thought that a) light would attract a lot of attention in a normally dark area and 2) in the summer, it would be a beacon for every moth and mosquito in the area lol

Congrats on the silver. Those mercury dimes are really fun to find.

:peace: :clapping: :peace:

Congrats on a ight hunt. Sounds like something I should be trying. Nice pile of wheats and 2 more silvers. You are racking up the silver count.

Nice job! It's hard enough to find silver as it is.
And your out looking for it in the dark! lol thumbsup01
I did a lttle night hunting once. I used one of the LED headlamps we use on our hard hats at work.
It worked slick!
Congrats on the goodies!

Yeah bob, its a little weird. But, I work for the PD here so it gives me a slight advantage. I don't mind going into the bad parts of town as this was. Situation awareness and a Glock 21 will always work. You know, I wonder if Garrett could make a Propointer that would fit on the rail of a Glock? Hahahaha! Anyway, HH all!
