First seated dime

Hi, I'm new to this site and wanted to share my find from yesterday. I was hunting in a park with crunch7077, got a high tone with my Etrac so I dug about 5 inches deep and out popped my first seated dime, 1889. Naturally I dinged it, but I thought I would share it anyway. HH

Hi John! Welcome to American Detectorist and congrats on your first seated dime! It's a real beauty! |:cheering:

I just got my first seated dime last year so I remember what a great feeling it is.

Coincidentally, I watched your recovery of this dime on YouTube this morning. It was a very enjoyable video to watch.

Good job on the terrific find! :perfect10:

Thanks Tony. I always watch your videos on you tube. You've had some great finds in those little town squares that you hunt and your videos are really well made. I appreciate your kind comments!

Hey, welcome aboard and congrats on your Seated Dime :clapping: :clapping: I bet that was a surprise at 5 :shocked04: I'm not sure if you did that damage to it. Usually when you scratch a coin, it is bright silver. Yours looks the same color as the rest of it, maybe because it was done years ago :dontknow: Either way, Seated is always welcomed

congrats on the nice lookin seated :smitten: John , and welcome to the forum :waving:
