Got out to 2 park areas this morning in high 70's weather. It didn't take long after the sun came up for it to get HOT and HUMID............they said the high would be 96 with a heat index of 103............. I think it was that hot at 10AM instead of the afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crying01

This morning the F5 was SMOKIN' again !! thumbsup01   ------got 19 quarters, 26 dimes, 14 nickels, and 47 pennies. ($8.52 in clad)......had to dig in rockhard dirt because we have had only 1 inch of rain since January 1st.......very dry...the ground is cracking. I had to stop a few times, get a drink from a water fountain and dowse myself with water.............

I'm glad I had my Lesche digger---though it was still hard to dig. :(

I was happy to get 4 wheats and a Merc digging in the concrete ground. :happydance01: :happydance01:

I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! With 7 months to go---I got the same total dollar amount of clad that I had dug up for all of 2010. :peace: :peace: :peace: :peace:

YAAAAHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job on the old finds and the yearly clad count! Also, way to press on in the heat and with the hard ground. For some, just one of those things would be enough to call it a day. thumbsup01

Now that is a coin haul for sure... plus some oldies. :clapping:
Nice looking Merc.
Congrats on the hunt. We usually end up with rock hard ground in mid August through late September.
It's not fun to dig.

Wow Robbie! That's some clad count!! Congrats on the merc :clapping: I know what you mean about the Lesche, it slices right through that concrete thumbsup01
