Thats a pretty cool find Dave! Now you'll just have to find the model T ford to go with it and you'll have big big bucks :hysterical:

Very nice find, Dave!

I found one of those back in the early 1980s and threw it away because I didn't know what it was. crying01

There are actually quite a few of them on eBay. They seem to sell in the $20-$30 range.

I think they are like gold nuggets---if they're found by a celebrity it triples their value ;)
Returning the ring was touching. I think that was a genuine and real moment.

Nice find, glad you kept it unlike someone else we know (TTC). I have a very old friend who got me back into detecting and when I show him the buttons or relics that I have dug, he says that they used to just throw items like that away. If it wasn't a coin it was of no interest to him.

Very interesting find Dave.

I am a little bit like that - not really a relic person and tend to put them all in a pile to deal with later if not a coin. :) But am learning to really appreciate relics :)

i have found two of them but mine does not have a name on them i was told that they were a bearing cover for a model a or t ford nice find dennis :peace: :peace:
