This 1837 large cent I got hunting with Al, Randy and my son Al. The watch my son Al got in another field. The watch on the bottom I got two years ago in the same field. Two watches the same make in the same field. There is a cellar hole on the side of the field. The owner must have lost one, then bought another, and lost that one.

Very nice large cent, Rob! happydance02

That's an amazing coincidence about the watches! They're even in similar condition. It really makes a person wonder what the story is behind them. Maybe it happened just like you said, the owner lost the original and then the replacement as well.

Nice. Glad to hear a bunch of you got out for a day of detecting. :clapping:

Very interesting story about the watches. :thinkingabout: Yet another story I'd like to hear if they could talk.
Love the LC. I don't get to find them often in my area and love to see when you guys dig them.

Congrats.

2 same watches from the same field? Huh? :thinkingabout: Weird. :dontknow:
But it's cool you all got a chance to hook up for a hunt!
And a sweet LC is icing on the cake! <:
Congrats!

Thats a real nice looking LC. The watch story is funny, 2 watches, same field, same make. It was nice meeting you and Al, congrats on that LC

Great LC..pretty nice condition too. Wish I could have made the trip this weekend >{.....someday :daydream:
