Hunted a school field this morning and had some luck . I found what I believe is a 1940's WWII hat pin . Anyone have info on this ? Also some Wheats , 1926 , 42D , 46S and 195:clapping: . Total clad for about 3+ hours , $14.13 . All in all a good hunt !

Great hunt Glen! :clapping:
Wish I could help you out with that hat pin. It is a very nice looking piece. I'll bet someone here will id it pretty soon.
That is an impressive clad count for 3+ hours. :shocked04:
Congrats.

That is a US Army enlisted man's hat badge. Most military refer to that hat as the bus driver hat. Nice find.

Howdy Amigo!
That bus driver pin sure looks spiffy, but I don't think it goes back all that far. I believe the same one is used today.
Meanwhile, your clad count was awesome, and those wheats are always nice to find!

Way to go on a terrific hunt!
