Got this the other day. Made of brass. I put a wheat in for size reference. I have looked at this thing from all angles and I have not one clue as to what it was used for. All ideas appreciated.

I'm thinking Reins guide as well. Just a bit different than your typical one.

Yeah Al, that's a stumper for sure. A fancy reigns guide would also be about the only thing I can guess as well.
