bought this group of buttons at a garage sale today for 10 bucks.curious to know if the small general service eagle cuff button is civil war... based on the backmark? Dan help!

yep its a cuff button.the back mark makes it CW Dan? also any idea on the PAW button? with wings? prisoner american war?

That is a realy great find,even without your detector! If they are not reproductions, ( and I wouldn't know how to tell,) they may be worth a lot more than 10 bucks! :yes:
