Hi Gang! I went back to the school I found the Wheatie at yesterday. Sun is shining and its close to 50* :happydance01: Went to an area with no snow, got a good signal, went to put the lesche in the ground.... FROZEN SOLID  Walked around some more, got another good signal, Figured I'd get down on the ground and really put my weight into it this time. The ground was as soft as sand  I almost fell on my face!! rofl There was an area about 100' x 100' that was digable. I was using the M6 with the old faithful 6 x 10 coil today. Got a nice tone at 7 and pulled out a 1950 Rosie. 1st Silver of 2011. Also got a 1955 wheat and some clad. On the way back to the car, I got another good signal. Bouncing 80-86 VDI at 7. Frozen ground here... It took a while but I got it out. Its stuck in the block of frozen dirt. Looks like we have to have the first contest of 2011 <: :happydance01: :peace: :clapping:
