Hi,

hope u can help me to ID this three attach items.

One looks like the cap of a wrench set, it saids " C.B.Q CO. Decatur"
The other was found on the beach 2 feet under the sand. Looks like a rectangle iron with kind of hook under
The other is like a iron nugget, but im not sure what it is.

Thanks in advance!

can you put a coin or something next to these things so we can see how large or small they are ??

Also let me say welcome to the forum Yanyos.

Lets saids the first Two, 3-4inches
The one with the hook like 2 feets

Thanks

the top pictured item does look like a cap off of a large drum or container , the second looks like metal slag from welding or what a cutting torch would make . the third item is interesting but I really don't know .

Hi Yanyos...I believe the top piece is is from the CBQ Foundry in Decatur, IL. Long history of that company and you can Google them if you like. Also a CBQ Railroad (Chicago-Burlington-Quincy) from earlier times, but the first guess is more likely. Not sure of the other two items.
