Help Me Understand Ground Probe

Hi All.

New member here (mostly post over at FMDF & TN) but a seasoned cellar hole / woods digger.

I'm digging deeper into the functions on my V3i & I need help deciphering what this is telling me with the setting's I'm using. I was in the 5hz band filter.

Is there something I can do to get my machine to go deeper? I was probably getting hits in the 5-7 range with my new 6x10 Eclipse DD.

Thanks In Advance,
Roger

There actually two ground probes on the V3i.

I'm sending a copy of The Book of Jack to the email address you used when you signed up for the forum. If it isn't there within the hour, please advise via PM and I'll resend it.

On page #18, Jimmy Sierra (White's guy who was basically behind the design of the V3) discusses both probes and their functions. There are several other references to its use throughout the book as well.
