So #75 is in the books. Your dedication is to be commended, to be hunting in this weather. I am sure that your lock is 1/2 of a pair of handcuffs. :congrats: on the Barber

DENNIS, you amaze me by going out in this hot temperature. We had 101 and 102 degrees here. Too Hot for me. You always seem to get old silver whenever you go out. Congrats on the barber dime and wheat penny. We had a thunderstorm and rain last night. It might moisten the ground some, but we could still use more. You do very well at your local site to detect. I did find barber dime there 25 years ago. I don't have any locations lined up to hunt here.

Pokie73 Congrats on the barber dime. I hunted yesterday too, for a hour and a half. It was 100 degrees here in Iowa. I only found approx. 3 dollars in clad though. I figure in Iowa if you wait till it's not to hot or to cold to detect you're only left with about 3 weeks a year. lol

:congrats: Nice hunt!

...I have a pair of handcuff similar to the one you found. They were belonging to Grand'Pa... He was a police officer in Sherbrooke between 1920 and 1945. I have the souvenir handcuff, but don't have the key anymore, so if you found the key of yours, email me ;)
