Hunt with MangoAve

Jim (MangoAve) and I met at a corn field this morning to see if we could dig some keepers...we couldn't so we moved to a cellar hole that seemed absent of anything higher than iron. We walked up hill from there and found a second hole. There were some targets at this second spot but no really high tones...so we walked further in the woods and found a third cellar hole, but by that time lunch was calling and I was feeling peckish  It was a pleasure to meet Jim and we'll have to get back there soon, and bring snacks
Oh yeah...Jim found that solid silver spoon and gave it to me...KIDDING  Just plated.

i see some high value targets Drew were they mostly at the last spot ?? go back there and find those coins ;)

Yeah Dan, lots of swinging space too. I was surprised no coins were recovered. That token is copper though, sounded like a fatty.

Thanks, Drew, for taking me along. Yeah, unfortunately no coins but a ton of relics. Your welcome for the spoon. It was a button day for you and a buckle day for me. One buckle at the cornfield, but newer age. I'll put pics up when I'm back home. No I didn't go out to another place. It's party weekend. Lol. That case does open, but once I post the pics you can say what it is. The name eludes me. Yes Dan, there were a few places there hit, but the other holes we found weren't really. There was an 80 X 80 area with rock walls but no hole. Not sure what the area was.

Well, as I said, here are the pics of finds. I wonder what that imprinted foil piece you had is. And you did find one musket ball. On Friday I went for a hike up to a place where Mark Twain supposedly visited. There's only a chimney left. Only found two zincolns, 1975 and 2005, and one weird latch piece that says made in England. The last picture shows the opposite side of the crescent piece, the opposite side of the oval piece with spikes, and opposite of box. Both spikes were there, but it broke from glove trying to remove dirt. It looks like it was a brass decoration to leather. The crescent piece I have no clue.
