Interesting (to me anyway)

Most of you probably know this but when you own two or three detectors you learn interesting things. I have been over the same ground with all 3 of my machines many times. Each one has made me a better operator of the other 2. Each one has found targets that the other two missed, or maybe didn't pass over in spite of my efforts to take the same path.
Fun hobby; never ending fascination.

hmmmfph Never thought about that....very cool. I've keep saying I'm going to try the Deus but I have so much time invested in the language of the T2 that I haven't pulled the trigger...maybe trying the Deus would make me better at both. I wish Minelab would build a lighter machine.

All it takes (in my case) is watching 10,000 (or so) you tube videos, reading the manuals several times, and a lot of field work. It helps a lot if your retired.
