January 15th woods hunt !!! UPDATE !!!

I got a late start cause I was undecided whether or not I was going to do any detecting but finally I thought I'm going, so I went to a spot about a mile from my house, didn't find a single coin but even when there ain't snow on the ground it's difficult to find a coin in this woods anyhow.

Hey Larry,you got out,beats sitting home anytime,I must admit i was hoping for a video of you moving around the woods :grin:,the temp here yesterday hit 34degs,felt like a heat wave :happydance01:,I will be going out today for sure,take careand good tecting,Dave

I didn't bring my camera along cause the battery was charging, I thought about bring the camcorder but I didn't. It's kinda bulky too. I've been looking at them Flip camcorder's but haven't talked to anyone who has one yet, I haven't seen anything posted on the forum about them either.

I got a small cam corder coming from Hong Kong,might just get here before summer is over :bangahead01: ,I hope to take a few of some of the hunts i have lined up for later....that corbin lock i have been known to drill holes in the right places and pick them as long as the wheels are free to turn,pretty cool lock,been there for a while for sure thumbsup01

Nice of mother nature to give you that heatwave. Now how about trying to see if you can crack that lock combination lol

I got a pm from Salty on how to pic the Corbin combination padlock but he didn't leave a link so I decided to research the lock, come to find out this particular lock was darn near impossible to open without the original combination so I did was the guy recommended, started a 1 - 9 - 5 - 0 and work my way up, it took a couple hours but I finally hit on the combination. Before I did this I did some extensive electrolysis to break down the rust which had seized the shackle and once I did that I started my combo search.

A quick snip with a pair of bolt cutters is all it takes. rofl I'm going to research the lock a little more cause according to the guy's article I read he said that it was the old ones that were almost impossible to open without the combination, I'm kinda wonderin just how old it is :dontknow:
