January ended on a silver

Got off early from work today so I thought I would get one more hunt in for January  . I hunted a 1940's park that I have hunted many times since the late 90's . This time I hunted the very back grass corner that I had not hunted in over 10 years and three detectors ago . The MXT PRO did great ! I had a very tiny sounding high tone at +77 . It was around 7 inches deep . I was very happy to see a nice black disc at the bottom of the hole :happydance01: . It was my 2nd Mercury dime for the year and the 2nd in as many hunts . It's a 1943 and looks like it was stuck to some iron , maybe a 1943 war penny :thinkingabout: ? If it was a war penny it had long gone away . The other good finds were a 1941S wheat and a 1949D nickel .
It was good to end the month with silver . thumbsup01

Great stuff! :clapping:

If you keep this up with those large piles of clad I wouldn't be surprised if you dig $1,500+ in clad this year. :shocked04:

I'd have to agree with Al about the rings
