Just wanted to take a moment to say hi to all of you. I have been interested for several years, but just recently got the bug real bad. I got a new detector and was feeling it out in my back yard, and hit on a standing Liberty Quarter. I have been at it ever since.
Hey Mudder, welcome aboard from western MA. Once bitten by the detecting bug, very few survive and drop out lol Glad you found us and hope to hear some of your detecting stories thumbsup01 (and pictures too lol )
Ahhhhh...another one hooked. Welcome to the forum, lots of good guys and gals here and very knowledgable (sp). Looking forward to your posts and pictures. What type of detector you using?
Same deal bro - just got started - mostly in my back yard (having a bit of a hard time finding other places to go) but found a 1912 barber dime where I walk every day - got bit real hard on this hobby. Happy hunting <:
hello Mudder , welcome to the forum . :shocked04: a standing liberty quarter is a great early find to make and your addiction to the hobby could be fatal after that . lol lol yes we love to see pictures of thngs like that . congrats :clapping: :clapping: .
Oh, don't worry about the pictures they are coming. I have to get my wife's camera up and running and then I will start posting some pictures to go along with the posts.
Hi there Mudder, glad you are here with us. :clapping:
Yep, I can see how pulling a SLQ from your own back yard would hook you.
That is a very nice and hard coin to find.
The Ace 250 is a great machine. I have found my fair share with it.
Looking forward to you future hunts.
