It only took four months, but I finally completed my Open Water Diver Certification! I've been in the water detecting very cold lakes, but so far I couldn't ask for better results! Twelve silver and two gold rings in just two days! I also raked in over 20 Euros in clad!

One of the gold rings I found was "Rose Gold" from the former Soviet Union. It has a "Red Star" and a Hammer and Sickle as part of the proof mark and is 14K.

The next gold ring I found was strange...marked .333 or 8k.

I found some really cool silver rings too!

Most of the other silvers were small, but hey...they're 925 Silver! :)

GL and HH!

Congrats!
I'd be turning into one big prune!
The rose gold ring is sharp! And the silver one with the two rows of stones is a cool design!
I can hardly wait to see what the next couple of days brings!:popcorn:

Wow!:shocked03: What an amazing amount of rings in a short period of time. Looks like you already made a dent of the cost of certification. Nice work Craig!

Wow seems to be the word of the day!! Those rings are absolutely amazing. And in only two days! :perfect10:How deep was the water you hunted in?

Actually I paid the $500.00 SSI Open Water Diver Course with the 818.00 EURO that I found last year. That's one thing I love about MDing. It's a hobby that PAYS! :clapping:

WOW! Amazing finds-many of us are still trying to find our first gold anything. These finds will certainly pay for your tank refills and upkeep to the equipment. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more updates! I'm really intrigued by that Soviet ring!

The weakness to the Seahunter MKII is that you have to dig EVERYTHING...but that can be an advantage too! :) I know there are a lot of Russian "Diplomats" in and around the area of Germany where I live. Maybe one of them lost it?
