Whenever I get a new machine I check to see where two of the US gold coins ID at.
$1 gold coin, 54-55
$5 gold coin, 71-72

That's a great idea Mark .I'll have to ask around and see who will let me run my detectors over their gold coins .Either that or find out the numbers it rings on my Explorer on line , find another type of target that duplicates those numbers and run my other ID detectors over it .Thanks for waking up the thought processes Mark . |:cheering:

I'm glad I did that test a few days ago because yesterday evening the number 55 came up and it was a very good sounding target. Dug this 10K horse shoe ring.
