Knee Pads

Always I have to much metal in my knees no to

My detecting partner, Steve always wears knee pads and seems to be comfortable with them. I never wear knee pads because they make the backs of my legs sore and are always slipping down. What I do use is a foam garden pad. My pad is about 8x18 and has a handle built in. I don't even think about it anymore. I just carry it in my left hand, and it hits the ground just before my knees. If you try this, one gets pretty adept at the technique. Fingers crossed, I've never missed the pad with my knees.

I also use a foam garden pad.I've had the same one for over 4 years and it's big enough to get both knees on for a difficult dig.It's true that you don't hardly notice you are carrying it after a while.

thumbsup01 Yep every time I'm out. Unless I'm hunting a farm feild. Then I'll wear just one or none depending on how wet it is. And they come in handy in yards with pets. lol It's easy to take off soiled knee pads after a hunt rather than a pair of soiled pants for the ride home. :barf: :barf: lol

I never use them, and I have not looked cool since the early 1980's. lol
