I dug this while on a hunt with Rob, was hoping it was silver but I don't think so. I hope the pictures show the details. My question is can anybody date this item and what was it used for? Thanks for looking.

Not to sure of the pictures so here is a description. At the top it says NEW HAVEN and at the bottom it says COMMANDERY. There is also a K, located at the west position and a T, located at the east position. On the inside of the circle from west to north to east to south it says IN HOC SIGNO VINCES. On the back I think it says C.G.Braxmar 10 Maiden Lane New York

Can't give you much info on it other than IN HOC SIGNO VINCES means in this sign you will conquer in Latin. It's in real nice shape, so I don't think it's real old. Hope someone can find that medal for you.

Also found out that C.G.Braxmar 10 Maiden Lane New York is a manufacturer of a lot of Mason's medals.
