Labor Day hunt with Digger_O'Dell

I know its a bit after labor day but my new phone takes crappy close ups so I have to use my old phone for pictures and then have access to WiFi to post , so now that that is done here's how it went. I met Digger_O'Dell on A.D. and we have kept in touch for the past couple of months. We were able to meet at the campground where I have my camper. It was great to meet him finally and to do some digging with a like minded person. It was very enjoyable to talk to another mder face to face for the first time. He us very knowledgeable about a lot of things and taught me a few things which was something I was hoping for also. As for the hunting, it lacked any silver which I was hoping Digger would find but not that day. He kicked my butt in clad as I found about 30 cents but did find a few other things of interest

Great to see you got out and had a good time. Those matchbox cars can sure ring up nicely huh? Been fooled many times into thinking I found silver when swinging over those.

Glad to finally see you get those finds posted! A little surprised you didn't show a pic of that huge steel ingot you found :lol:. Good job on all the toys, you got me well beat in that category for sure. The only metal cars I found were lawn mower fodder and mangled beyond recognition. As for the clad, I think I just got lucky especially with that 4 stacked quarter find.

Good thing you guys got out together. To my first machine those toy cars sound like regular dimes. I guess this year I am above par because not many have come up lately.
