Hello all...
February 27th: I got in a little hunt at an older school that yielded 25+ silvers over the last few years...
I nabbed 5 Wheaties and a 1953 D Roosie...
Mar 4th was 3 hunts... One in the AM before a planted club hunt on the beach, then a stop at a park on the way home...
I started the day on a green that I dod pretty well at the year before last and nabbed my 1st copper of the year...
I stopped on my way home as I guess I had not got my fill yet
This Merc was along the sidewalk in an old park... It a beat up 1918...
March 8th:
Nicest day of the year so far... I got out about 4pm and headed to a park I worked some the year before last... but as I was driving there I came up to another park that they have recently cut back 50+ ft of brush and trees... Wood chips everywhere... but I was thinking there had to be a silver or so in ther for me
1st hole had 3 modern quarters in it... and the 5th target was solid 12/46 @ 2 inches...
1951 Washington Silver...
Then I headed to the park I started out for... This park is very very very trashy and year before last I recovered a buch of Wheaties there but never any silver... but today would be differrent... I knew it... or at least hope...
2nd Target Wheatie... 3rd Target Wheatie... 15 minutes later I had a screaming 12/45 @ 5...
Silver wahoo... !! 1924 Mercury
oh wait... a FRIEND !! 2nd Merc
1944...
