Last hunt of 2011

I made it out for one last hunt this year. Today was in the low 40's and, unbelievably, the ground is still soft. :shocked04:

I decided to hunt a park that I felt had the best chance of coughing up a few more silver coins. Sure enough... it did. :happydance01:

Silvers #199 and #200 plus some wheat cents and a toasted IH.

It almost feels like mother nature was holding back winter for me to get one more hunt in. Tonight a wintery mix of rain and snow comes along with gusty 45 mile per hour winds. Sunday night the low is 13 and Monday night it drops down to the single digits.

The season is officially over. :beerbuddy:

Glad you got it Joe , i felt you would , you have to be the most improved detector around , you are a killer , i didnt get out , shopping and such ,,,,, you know next week in the 40s again on thurs and friday , bet there will still be soft ground..... just sayin lol

Thank you buddy. I hit 51 silver coins in 2009. 101 in 2010 and now 200 this year. I guess that's a full circle. :dontknow: It was a fun year.
