Let's see your best silver coin!

Donnie you should have waited until 15 of us posted our best silvers before you dropped that show stopper on us. Now none of us are going to want to play.

These were fun because they were in the same field.

Some amazing coins above! Donnie's coin is ridiculous of course but those Spanish silvers are awesome. This is what I consider my best coin. My 1812 half dollar. The front has some interesting iron staining but other than that it is great shape for being found in a farm field.

Amazing silver, everyone! Dan, I remember that little buckle well. I bet I had my coil on it but didn't dig it because I dug some same-sounding modern trash right around it. I'm glad you snagged it! I never went back there...did you? I know you guys hit the site just south of there. I also remember that 1832, what a catch!

Drew , i stopped back there about a year ago on my way home from other sites to kill an hour before going home. i pulled a fugio out of the chimney pile it was literally just under the leaf litter . i actually want to go back with my deus .

I'm curious as to your opinion Del, what machine you prefer. My experience has only been with Whites, and now the E-Trac.
