Lunch hunt at Parkway Clearing pulling out the trash

On May 26th I hunted this area near my office where they had cleared the brush and simply hit the high tones and picked up surface trash. Well, yesterday I went back at lunch and went slowly, turn down the disc and dug everything except iron. Came away with a dateless Buffalo nickel, a 1946D wheat cent and a 1959 Jefferson nickel. Lots more area to cover there before the ground cover grows back up too high.

Went back to this same spot again at lunch on Friday and found a whole pouch full of pull tabs and trash again and also these two old nickels from the 1940's. I am hoping there are some more silvers to be had there.

With the dates on them nickels, there ought to be some silver lurking there. Hope you can hit on some of it. Could well be a Merc or two hiding there :thinkingabout:

Lots of low tones coming out of that spot. Definitely shows signs of silver there.
Love the buffalo. I haven't dug more than a few this year.
