Thanks for the invite Lee and Chris. Great fun. The coins, button and ring I found topped the day off with the fun and camaraderie. Have to research the button. Can anyone identify this? Fleur De Lis can be any date i guess. Found 6 inches down. Average wheatie was 6 inches down also and one dated at 1920.

Nice button. It almost looks like a boy scout emblem? Where's the pictures of the coins & ring? Congrats on your finds :peace:

sorry about not putting in pics of the coins. 1920 and 1924(?) wheaties and couple of zincolns. The ring was only a silver plated costume. didnt take pics.

I guess I should have put the pic in the Relics section.

mate it was a pleasure , we had a laugh didnt we ...ha ha ha
chris had 2 silvers a merc and a rosie plus a silver ring , i had nine wheats (oldest 1920) a 1916 merc (no D mint mark)and two buffalos in the same hole, and a cool tiny virgin mary in a silver plated box/tube thingie.
this is turning out to be a very productive park , and we have only done one small hill.
tally so far in three visits is
11 silver coins
2 silver rings
52 wheat pennys
2 buffalo nickles
